Outreach Ministries

The Home Church congregation supports a variety of outreach ministries through financial contributions and through the volunteering of time by the members of the church.

Crisis Control Ministry
A ministry of the churches in Forsyth County to respond to the emergency survival needs of the people in the county. Responses include food, clothing, medication, support services referral, and financial assistance.

Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministries
An interdenominational ministry that serves over 18,000 incarcerated men, women and youth each year.

Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County
A Christian housing ministry dedicated to the work of building or renovating decent homes for eligible low-income families in the Winston-Salem area.

Hospice
A non-profit agency dedicated to providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to terminally ill persons and their families in their homes, in Forsyth County.

Salemtowne, the Moravian Home
A non-profit retirement community endorsed by the Moravian Church, South, for the nurture, support, and care of elderly residents from the community.

Samaritan Ministries
An interdenominational Christian organization which provides hope and healing by sharing food, shelter and companionship with the hungry and homeless through Christian love and service.

Sunnyside Ministry
An emergency response ministry of the Board of Evangelism and Home Missions of the Moravian Church, Southern Province, to provide food, clothing , and financial assistance to persons in need. Specific attention is given to individuals and families living in the southern area of the city.
