New! New! New!
A Lenten Communion Choir will be formed to sing for the 5 Lenten Communion Services to be held in our Chapel. (Please take note that the Combined Choir will sing for the Ash Wednesday Communion Service to be held in the Sanctuary. )
The group will be for entry level singers of any age. No prior choir experience is necessary, just a pleasant tone quality and the ability to match pitch.
Fifteen minute practices will be held in the Chapel right after each Communion Service, beginning on Wed., Feb. 21. Practice will include getting ready for the next week’s Communion as well as succeeding weeks.
The music will be tuneful, easily learned, and in a relaxed, comfortable style.
There will be no high notes, no singing alone, and no auditions!
You do not have to be able to participate in all the services to join.
Contact Lynda Alexander to indicate your interest!
Children’s Orffestra will begin practices on Wed., Feb. 7 at 5:30 p.m. in the Rehearsal Room. Seven consecutive Wednesday sessions (5:30 to 6 p.m.) will be held specifically to prepare children to play in worship on Sunday, March 25. Children who are registered by Monday, February 5th will have a part written particularly for them to match their experience level. New members are welcome to join and are asked to pre-register by 2/5.
