Men of the Church

   This organization of Home Church exists to provide men with opportunities for Christian fellowship, personal enrichment, spiritual growth and service in the life and ministry of the congregation.

   The Men of the Church is open to all male communicant members of Home Moravian Church and to other men who may desire to affiliate with them.

   The emphasis of the group is to:

1.   Include and assimilate new members into the Home Church community.
2.   Assist in service projects or programs of the church and community, for example:
   1.   Work Days at Laurel Ridge
   2.   Sunday Night Fellowship
   3.   Candle Tea assistance
   4.   Mission projects
   5.   Fund-raisers for community needs
3.   Provide an information and learning forum with regular quarterly meetings and a fall week-end retreat.
4.   Seek and promote leadership and spiritual growth through small group meetings.  Currently, there are breakfast and lunch groups meeting regularly every other week.
